Our Donation
CoffeeMakersUSA is proud to announce that we have donated a brand new Bunn VPS Coffee Brewer and 3 Coffee Pots to the congregation of the Saint John’s Baptist Church in Jersey City, New Jersey. The donation is being made at the request of an anonymous church member who is fighting cancer and took it upon herself to do something to thank her church for their support during her struggle.
Saint John’s History
Saint John’s was formed in 1929 and is currently celebrating their 85 anniversary. The church moved to their current location in 1948, but, in 1970, the church burned beyond repair and had to be rebuilt. In 1998 the church had outgrown its home and was rebuilt again.
Located in the heart of Jersey City and not far from the Statue of Liberty, Saint John’s service motto is “In The Heart of The Community, With The Community at Heart.” With the help of their vans they cater to the needs of the seniors in the community and there are plans in the works for a day care center. The church is also active in such community project as “Partners in Prevention.” After Hurricane Sandy hit Jersey City in 2012, Saint John’s Baptist Church hosted a free Thanksgiving Day dinner for the community.
We are honored to be able to help, and we wish only the best for the anonymous donor, and for Saint John’s Baptist.
We’re giving back!
In an effort to give back, CoffeeMakersUSA is willing to donate one commercial coffee brewer every month to a needy church, charity, fire or police department, or military unit.
If you are part of an organization that needs a commercial coffee brewer, please get in touch with us and let us know of your need.
