If there’s a question we hear often and don’t really have a good answer for, it’s “Which brand is best?”
Coffee Makers USA sells a variety of brands:
We think they are all good brands.
That’s Great, But Which Is Best?
The honest answer is that we wouldn’t be selling a brand if we didn’t think it was a quality brand. We’ve dealt with all of these companies for many years – over 10 years in the case of Bunn.
Most of the companies have been in existence for many years, and they all make most of their products in the US.
Fetco is youngest company. They started in the mid-1980’s, but their management came from other companies in the coffee brewing industry. Others, particularly Bunn for coffee brewers and Grindmaster for grinders, basically invented commercial brewing equipment.
To answer the question “Which coffee maker brand is best?” is comparable to answering the question “Which brand of car is best?”
Sure, some brands get rated slightly better than others, but they’re all pretty good at what they do. If a brand only makes lemons, they don’t last very long. Most people probably buy a car brand based on personal preference, past experience, and recommendations from friends and relatives.
Some people are Ford people, some Chevy, some Honda, etc.
The same is mostly true for coffee makers.
Every brand makes similar models, and they’re all well made. Consider your standard automatic coffee brewer with 3 warmers:
- Bunn makes a few models.
- Curtis makes a few.
- Grindmaster makes a few.
- Newco makes a few.
Granted, there are subtle differences between the different models, but, as brands go, they’re all solid performers. Also, the warranties are basically the same, as is the customer service and service techs.
We think it really comes down to personal preference and recommendations. Just like with cars. Some look a little different. Some seem to fit your personality better.
People Buy With Their Emotions
We recommend being aware of the coffee makers when visiting offices, coffee shops, churches, etc. See what others are using, ask them if they like their brewer. Ask friends and colleagues what they use and their likes or dislikes.
Then – buy the coffee maker brand that feels right for your needs.
As far as the differences go, there’s plenty on our web site that explains the differences, and we can also provide personal help.
But, in the end, don’t stress too much over the brand. More important than brand consideration is making sure you buy the correct size and kind of brewer for you needs.
